地质地貌

开发区由海拨100米以下的台地和阶地平原组成，呈现西北稍高、东南稍低、平坦开阔的地形。地质基础由“湛江群”粘士、砂质垆姆、玄武岩和石英砂构成，具有较高的建筑承载力。

Geologic features

The land inside the YEDZ is composed of mesa below 100m and terrace plain, with flat and open landform slightly high in northwest and low in southeast. The geologic foundation consists of clay of "Zhanjiang group", arenaceous loamy soil, basalt and quartz sand, with high building bearing capacity.
