交通运输

港口  洋浦港是天然避风良港，属国家一类对外开放口岸，拥有海南唯一的标准化的集装箱码头。

PORT

Yangpu Port is a good natural harbor and a state-level open port with the only standardized container terminal in Hainan.

　

铁路  由海口经琼州海峡火车轮渡与广东省铁路衔接的粤海铁路通道正在建设当中，预计将于2002年建成。根据朱F基总理的指示，粤海铁路将直接通到洋浦。届时，开发区物资进出可由铁路直接与大陆各地联运。

　

RAILWAY

The Yuehai Railway Passage is under construction. It links the railway of Guangdong Province with train ferry in Haikou via Qiongzhou Straits. The construction will be completed in 2002 according to estimation. According to Premier Zhu Rongji's instruction, Yuehai Railway will directly lead to Yangpu, and at that time, the goods and materials may be transported directly between Yangpu and China mainland through railway.

洋浦经济开发区内已完成100公里的道路网，海口至洋浦128公里高速公路已全线贯通。

　

ROAD

A 100-km-long road network has been built up inside YEDZ and the 128-km-long expressway between Haikou and Yangpu has been completely open for traffic.

　

空运  洋浦至海口美兰国际机场45公里。

　

AIR TRANSPORT

Yangpu is 145 km to Haikou Meilan International Airport.
